This is a thread to post your suggestions for the next fhsw versions. you can posts pics, videos or other stuff of vehicles, tanks, plans, ships... wicht you want to see in the next fhsw version! the FHSW devs will fallow this thread tensely
Please keep in mind that EVERY additional vehicle in FHSW extends the overall loading time of ALL maps!
Add at least a short reason why this vehicle should be added and not just blindly copy/paste everything that you have found somewhere on the net. When you are about posting a request, think it twice whether excessive time spent for map loading is worth of all less significant prototypes found on the Internet, even if none of maps use them. The more doesn't stand for better, in this case. Thanks for understanding.
All suggestions so far (collected by Fritz Kempf) All crossed entries = already added in FHSw or planned in next version.
I like that a lot of tanks can spot targets for the artillery now, however to add some realism only tanks/APC's/etc. that really had a radio to communicate with the higher command should be able to spot targets for the artillery. Quite a few tanks have a cupola view now, also a nice addition. But: Some tanks didn't have one in RL but have a cupola view in FHSW, e. g. Ferdinand. And the T-34/85 had one in RL but not in FHSW. These little historical details are really important for me.
Related to my previous suggestion the commander (cupola view) should have the ability to spot targets for artillery (is already done in most tanks) but also spot targets for his gunner like in the Jagdtiger or T-35 (the little arrow icon on the minimap). One thought that randomly came to my mind is to add more usefulness to the marker pistol. One Ju 88 variant (placed on Arctic Convoy) can drop Star Shells which make some light but are also shown on the minimap. How about adding that minimap icon to the marker pistol? This way you could for example show your bomber pilots where they should drop their deadly load.
The Nahverteidigungswaffe was able to fire smoke rounds, too. Maybe it's possible to switch between smoke and HE grenade via up/down keys?
Tank physics: I have a feeling that some tanks accelerate way too fast, sure the Maus was able to go at 20 km/h but only on perfect conditions and definitely not within 1 second. I also think that the turret traverse speed was increased for most tanks in 0.5, it's a bit strange to see the IS-2/Tiger II/etc. rotating their turrets by 360° in seconds.
World of Tank introduce again a new version. This time they have add some awsome stuff! Like the Crash sound of a tank! You hear smash the tank on the ground when he drive from cliffs and also if he jump over hills!
Bring back the FH maps like Road to Ramelle, Attack on Carentan, Market Garden, Bastogne, Fall Gelb. They only take up a few KB because they're already in FH, so I don't know why anyone would delete these maps. More maps is always better, right? They also look really good compared to the fugly (sorry) shadeless FHSW maps like Gazaps and Sumosalami or whatever it's called. For the love of god please add shadows to your maps! I know you can do it, Gela - Operation Husky has them and it looks gorgeous! Also Berlin Outskirts needs to come back, it's one of the best maps for our player numbers. (added note from Fritz Kempf: Hell yeah! :P )
survive the depth bombs attack while you use a Submarine.... in the past, you can survive a depth charges attack from destroyers when you use the Submarine and dive depth enough! Now, a few versions meanwhile, you can't survive it anymore and that is pitty! I want to play like the movie Das Boots!
I also wish they made more Italy campaign maps! Britain vs. Italy, Canada vs. Italy, Britain vs. Germany, America vs. Italy, America vs. Germany (all in Italy of course). Maps like battle of Anzio and Monte Cassino would be good for FHSW. I hope with the introduction of Brazilian forces they will include more Italy maps with them in it.

Very nice features Eye!!!! Thank u for sharing ur ideas .

Unternehmen Cerberus.

My wish for the next part of FHSW concerns the Navy. I would be happy to see most advanced submarines of the time the Type XXI and Type XXIII. Especially the Submarines are a very concise part of the German military history and have a similar status as the Stuka in the Air Force. Basically I find it all too easy to fight submarines, therefore, I propose a time actually existing system to be installed in the submarines that can discharge of decoys and also to the former type VIIC that operated from 1942 to this decoy flare system! This could work in such a way that there are additional radar echoes on the map, and distinguish the opponent's destroyer captain is no longer what is now the real submarine. In addition, I would find it very useful to develop German destroyers and then create one or the other map e.g. Cerberus. Gameserver admin on our FHSW Europ server

Very good idea with the Bold, the current destroyer vs submarine fights are not really exciting. Once you're spotted you're dead basically. Do you know more about the Bold? Like reload time and number of charges?
I also hope that they add the Type XXI, a very stunning piece of technology. It has the abilty to move at the same speed submerged as it moves on the surface. My Youtube Channel aka eYe.ris

Unfortunatly I only know what in Wikipedia is described. At the moment I`m very short in time so I can´t do any more research.
But I could imagine after reading the things in Wiki that there are 3 - 4 shoots per minute are possible and ammunition seems very small so 20 or 30 "shells" could be stored on board.

Ingame, the Panzer II Ausf L can fire smoke shells with his smoke grenade launchers. the Panther Ausf D have also smoke grenades launchers and of course the Panther turret. It should be possible to launch also smoke with the Panther Ausf D. So far i know, but i can be wrong, it was possible to fire anti-personnal grenades. So, agree with you but they most be add on all tanks that have an smoke grenade launcher.
using a "_001.rfa" of a map with the night skybox or the day skybox as a switch file and just removing or inserting the switch file from the levels folder
adding wave texture effects to the sea coast lines of the sea based maps
when stepping (not swimming) to the water to be heard a splashing sound effect of the footsteps
the explosions to the land to leave a burned ground texture
destroyable buildings (as the exploding barrels)
the engineer unit to use an electric solder tool instead of the wrench (actually when something metallic is damaged it needs more to be electrically glued than screwed)
also small detail but how about when the bullets of the firearms are depleted to be heard a sound effect of the triggering
On the map Desert Hill at the East Picket, there should be a ladder wich you climb up to the top off the tower. So as German you can spot from there for the artillery.

Nice idea's. Also: When a car driving throug water, a water sound ands even also (like the Water Buffalo) a splashing water.
You should be able to land on water with a plane. I have did it before with bombers, but you can not do it with all planes. Just land on the water and he just sink slow. I think i did it with a B-17???

This! The Goliath as pick up kit. The user run with it to the fields and launch the Goliath and drive with it with a remote control. It is then possible to be killed easy by infantry. example the map Kurks Outskirts the Goliath is inside the mainbase and on the map Foy far away behind the village. Maybe a limited range is also a good idea so it is more realistic.

Should be awsome Heinkel He 162 Salamander, Arado Ar 234 Blitz, Messerschmitt BF-163 Komet and Gotha Go 229 on Alpenfestung. No Me 262 anymore. Only Modern Jets!
