This is a thread to post your suggestions for the next fhsw versions. you can posts pics, videos or other stuff of vehicles, tanks, plans, ships... wicht you want to see in the next fhsw version! the FHSW devs will fallow this thread tensely
Please keep in mind that EVERY additional vehicle in FHSW extends the overall loading time of ALL maps!
Add at least a short reason why this vehicle should be added and not just blindly copy/paste everything that you have found somewhere on the net. When you are about posting a request, think it twice whether excessive time spent for map loading is worth of all less significant prototypes found on the Internet, even if none of maps use them. The more doesn't stand for better, in this case. Thanks for understanding.
All suggestions so far (collected by Fritz Kempf) All crossed entries = already added in FHSw or planned in next version.
I like that a lot of tanks can spot targets for the artillery now, however to add some realism only tanks/APC's/etc. that really had a radio to communicate with the higher command should be able to spot targets for the artillery. Quite a few tanks have a cupola view now, also a nice addition. But: Some tanks didn't have one in RL but have a cupola view in FHSW, e. g. Ferdinand. And the T-34/85 had one in RL but not in FHSW. These little historical details are really important for me.
Related to my previous suggestion the commander (cupola view) should have the ability to spot targets for artillery (is already done in most tanks) but also spot targets for his gunner like in the Jagdtiger or T-35 (the little arrow icon on the minimap). One thought that randomly came to my mind is to add more usefulness to the marker pistol. One Ju 88 variant (placed on Arctic Convoy) can drop Star Shells which make some light but are also shown on the minimap. How about adding that minimap icon to the marker pistol? This way you could for example show your bomber pilots where they should drop their deadly load.
The Nahverteidigungswaffe was able to fire smoke rounds, too. Maybe it's possible to switch between smoke and HE grenade via up/down keys?
Tank physics: I have a feeling that some tanks accelerate way too fast, sure the Maus was able to go at 20 km/h but only on perfect conditions and definitely not within 1 second. I also think that the turret traverse speed was increased for most tanks in 0.5, it's a bit strange to see the IS-2/Tiger II/etc. rotating their turrets by 360° in seconds.
World of Tank introduce again a new version. This time they have add some awsome stuff! Like the Crash sound of a tank! You hear smash the tank on the ground when he drive from cliffs and also if he jump over hills!
Bring back the FH maps like Road to Ramelle, Attack on Carentan, Market Garden, Bastogne, Fall Gelb. They only take up a few KB because they're already in FH, so I don't know why anyone would delete these maps. More maps is always better, right? They also look really good compared to the fugly (sorry) shadeless FHSW maps like Gazaps and Sumosalami or whatever it's called. For the love of god please add shadows to your maps! I know you can do it, Gela - Operation Husky has them and it looks gorgeous! Also Berlin Outskirts needs to come back, it's one of the best maps for our player numbers. (added note from Fritz Kempf: Hell yeah! :P )
survive the depth bombs attack while you use a Submarine.... in the past, you can survive a depth charges attack from destroyers when you use the Submarine and dive depth enough! Now, a few versions meanwhile, you can't survive it anymore and that is pitty! I want to play like the movie Das Boots!
I also wish they made more Italy campaign maps! Britain vs. Italy, Canada vs. Italy, Britain vs. Germany, America vs. Italy, America vs. Germany (all in Italy of course). Maps like battle of Anzio and Monte Cassino would be good for FHSW. I hope with the introduction of Brazilian forces they will include more Italy maps with them in it.
"The Volkswagen Type 276 Schlepperfahrzeug was a derivative of the Volkswagen Type 82 Kubelwagen which was modified to enable it to tow a trailer or a gun, that would be deployed in a unit which comprised of two modified Kubelwagen, an ammunition trailer laden with 16 cases of three rounds of A.P. shell, a small caliber anti-tank gun (PaK 37mm) and seven men (drivers included). The Type 276 only saw light at the end of 1944 and never went into mass production. It is thus not surprising that collectors have remained largely unaware of its existence."
Valentine 9.75 inch flame mortar Experimental vehicle with turret replaced by fixed heavy mortar intended to fire 25 lb TNT incendiary shells to demolish concrete emplacements. Trials only by Petroleum Warfare Dept, 1943-45. Effective range was 400 yards (maximum range 2,000 yards).
For anti mines. This is possible to haver this because DC Extended have those tanks.

There are kits with the C-47 that towns the Waco glider. I haven't found yet but is there also a German Me-321 kit? Also i want to suggest this. Three BF-110's town the Me-321 via a pick up kit (the Troikaschlepp system). Just same like the 3 Stuka's that fly over the field but with Bf110's and a Glider behind it.
Rus wiki: Since the summer of 1942, light tanks T-70 took an active part in the battles of World War II. The climax of their military service has become the battle of Kursk, and then they began to disappear from the Red Army, although some specimens have been used up to the end of the war. According to the number of vehicles produced T-70 is the second largest type of tank in the Red Army, 1941-1945.
Polikarpov I-16 (I-Shestnadtsad' => Ishak) Eng wiki: The Polikarpov I-16 was a Soviet fighter aircraft of revolutionary design; it was the world's first low-wing cantilever monoplane fighter with retractable landing gear to have attained operational status and as such "introduced a new vogue in fighter design."[1] The I-16 was introduced in the mid-1930s and formed the backbone of the Soviet Air Force at the beginning of World War II. The diminutive fighter, nicknamed "Ishak" ("donkey") by Soviet pilots, prominently featured in the Second Sino-Japanese War,[2] the Battle of Khalkhin Gol[2] and the Spanish Civil War[3][4]—where it was called the Rata ("rat") by the Nationalists or Mosca ("fly") by the Republicans. The Finnish nickname for I-16 was Siipiorava ("Flying Squirrel").
Its main opponent in the sky of 1941 was the German Messerschmitt Bf 109.

The KV-1K, or cited as a KV-10 by some sources, with 132mm BM-8 Katyusha rocket launchers was developed in May 1942 by tank factory No. 100. That rocket system had name KRAST-1 (short rocket artillery system for tanks-1) - four armored boxes for two rocket launchers each were installed on the sides of KV - this is visible on the side photo above: two KRAST-1 were located on each side near the turret, another two - near engine compartment. So the tank was armed with 8x132mm rockets in addition to its main armament (driver had electric fuze for KRAST-1). The tests were very successful (Research Firing Ground of Small-arms Weapon at Chebakul, August-November 1942), KRAST-1 was a powerful, effective and cheap weapon, it was possible to install it easily by army workshops on every serial KV and T-34. But there was no serial production of such system.
@Manns meine freunde, the Klementi Vorochilov KV-6 Behemoth 1941 has already been suggested to a previous page Trolls (rare species from Trollhattan that are protected by UNESCO) S.P.A.M. (super power affected membership)
@Fritz-Kempf indeed it is possible to use the anti mine tanks system as the anti personnel mine system of the battlefield global front modification (the (ro)bots seem to also use the mines)
by the way and the Heinkel He-111 also towed large gliders Trolls (rare species from Trollhattan that are protected by UNESCO) S.P.A.M. (super power affected membership)
The "KV-6 Behemoth" is a pure fictional tank that was created by a modelmaker for fun. I can't believe that so many people think it was really built or even planned. Just look at it, the whole tank would fall apart if it tries to turn. My Youtube Channel aka eYe.ris
The weapionry also very strange. How can you reload the rocket lauyncher???? The launcher is to hight to be reloaded! How can the second turret turn 360°???? How can you reload your guns if the mechanical drive system for the smaller turret on the turret on the same position is???? Exapple. Reloading a 156mm grenade???
