This is a thread to post your suggestions for the next fhsw versions. you can posts pics, videos or other stuff of vehicles, tanks, plans, ships... wicht you want to see in the next fhsw version! the FHSW devs will fallow this thread tensely
Please keep in mind that EVERY additional vehicle in FHSW extends the overall loading time of ALL maps!
Add at least a short reason why this vehicle should be added and not just blindly copy/paste everything that you have found somewhere on the net. When you are about posting a request, think it twice whether excessive time spent for map loading is worth of all less significant prototypes found on the Internet, even if none of maps use them. The more doesn't stand for better, in this case. Thanks for understanding.
All suggestions so far (collected by Fritz Kempf) All crossed entries = already added in FHSw or planned in next version.
I like that a lot of tanks can spot targets for the artillery now, however to add some realism only tanks/APC's/etc. that really had a radio to communicate with the higher command should be able to spot targets for the artillery. Quite a few tanks have a cupola view now, also a nice addition. But: Some tanks didn't have one in RL but have a cupola view in FHSW, e. g. Ferdinand. And the T-34/85 had one in RL but not in FHSW. These little historical details are really important for me.
Related to my previous suggestion the commander (cupola view) should have the ability to spot targets for artillery (is already done in most tanks) but also spot targets for his gunner like in the Jagdtiger or T-35 (the little arrow icon on the minimap). One thought that randomly came to my mind is to add more usefulness to the marker pistol. One Ju 88 variant (placed on Arctic Convoy) can drop Star Shells which make some light but are also shown on the minimap. How about adding that minimap icon to the marker pistol? This way you could for example show your bomber pilots where they should drop their deadly load.
The Nahverteidigungswaffe was able to fire smoke rounds, too. Maybe it's possible to switch between smoke and HE grenade via up/down keys?
Tank physics: I have a feeling that some tanks accelerate way too fast, sure the Maus was able to go at 20 km/h but only on perfect conditions and definitely not within 1 second. I also think that the turret traverse speed was increased for most tanks in 0.5, it's a bit strange to see the IS-2/Tiger II/etc. rotating their turrets by 360° in seconds.
World of Tank introduce again a new version. This time they have add some awsome stuff! Like the Crash sound of a tank! You hear smash the tank on the ground when he drive from cliffs and also if he jump over hills!
Bring back the FH maps like Road to Ramelle, Attack on Carentan, Market Garden, Bastogne, Fall Gelb. They only take up a few KB because they're already in FH, so I don't know why anyone would delete these maps. More maps is always better, right? They also look really good compared to the fugly (sorry) shadeless FHSW maps like Gazaps and Sumosalami or whatever it's called. For the love of god please add shadows to your maps! I know you can do it, Gela - Operation Husky has them and it looks gorgeous! Also Berlin Outskirts needs to come back, it's one of the best maps for our player numbers. (added note from Fritz Kempf: Hell yeah! :P )
survive the depth bombs attack while you use a Submarine.... in the past, you can survive a depth charges attack from destroyers when you use the Submarine and dive depth enough! Now, a few versions meanwhile, you can't survive it anymore and that is pitty! I want to play like the movie Das Boots!
I also wish they made more Italy campaign maps! Britain vs. Italy, Canada vs. Italy, Britain vs. Germany, America vs. Italy, America vs. Germany (all in Italy of course). Maps like battle of Anzio and Monte Cassino would be good for FHSW. I hope with the introduction of Brazilian forces they will include more Italy maps with them in it.
Problem about the P.1000 is it need maps with less objects because its big! It needs his roads. Second how much objects, how much the map needs. if you have a lot of objects and place there a Ratte, you will have Lags!
is-2 model 1944, is-2m, is-3m, is-5, is-6, is-9, is-10, is-85, is-100 is-122 model 1943 russian heavy tanks, t-50 russian light tank, russian yak-15 jet fighter, kv-6, kv-7, kv-8, kv-8s, kv-8m, kv-9, kv-10, kv-11, kv-12, kv-14, kv-85g, kv-152, kv-100, t-150, kv-220, kv-222 russian heavy tanks and u-18, u-19 russian heavy selfpropelled guns
Ok then? IS-2M are IS-2's modified during the 50's. IS-3M during the 60's. IS-9 is also during the 50's after IS-8 been redesigned. IS-10 during the 50's. IS-85 is already ingame, uner the second name IS-1. See Here. IS-100 is also ingame. See here. IS-122 is for the IS-2 under another name. Also ingame because that is the IS-2 model 1943. No Wikia article on this moment. KV-6 already suggested. KV-8 (see here), KV-8S (see here) & KV-9 (see here) are already ingame. KV-10 or KV-1K also suggested.
Update for the list! Please suggest with pics, because i don't know all vehicles.

the McDonnell XF-85 Goblin jet fighter appeared in 1948 which is in the battlefield 1942 secret weapons of world war two (for historical accuracy the real airplane had no wheels but only an underside skid and was only released in flight from a Convair B-36 jet propeller bomber, the Republic F-84 Thunderjet fighter was released in flight from the same airplane)
also the Armstrong Whitworth A.W.52 jet fighter appeared in 1947 which is in the battlefield 1942 secret weapons of world war two
by the way the North American F-86 Sabre jet fighter appeared in 1947 too and the Mikoyan Gurevich MiG-15 jet fighter appeared in 1948 too smile smile
Sometimes I wonder if ppl who make suggestions here actually play the game. Please add at least a short reason why this vehicle should be added and not just blindly copy/paste everything that you have found somewhere on the net.
What really is needed for example is a powerful AT gun for US/GB, the old 6 pounder doesn't cut it in late '44/'45, 17 pounder would be a great addition (already suggested I know). Same with artillery, I'm thinking of the 25 pounder or Long Tom here. My Youtube Channel aka eYe.ris

When you are about posting a request, think it twice whether excessive time spent for map loading is worth of all less significant prototypes found on the Internet, even if none of maps use them. The more doesn't stand for better, in this case. Thanks for understanding. Personally, I say a big no for such an enourmous amount of weapons that did not play a single role in the World War 2 battles.
@FHSWman, ningen, Frank, FHSW map developers, at whoever... If some weapon was very uncommon, therefore it is going to be used within a very few maps only, then maybe put that weapon in map's files, not globally. We don't really want, nor we need to load the Ratte, Maus or T29's files while playing, let's say, a 1940 map. Same about weapon kits.
--------------------- My candidate of reasonable and easy to do thing (models are available already):
Mistel, used on easter front of last months of war
@Mr_J: Thanks for that important hint. I absolutely agree. Additionally, I say it is more important to fix bugs and improve maps than adding lots of new stuff that will cause more bugs. This is a gaming community. People come here to relax. If you start an argument you will get kicked.
And I want to mention something yet. For me, a phrase "Secret Weapon" means a weapon that was ready to be widely manufactured (so potentially - we don't know - could lead to a significant change of the front line if used at larger scale) but it was disturbed due to the end of war. Examples are: Do-335, Volksjaegers, V-2, Comet tank...
A failed, abandoned projects or weapons that never reached prototype stage do not fit these terms.
@kyle: the IS-100 is already in the game Maybe play FHSW before you make suggestions on what to add @Fritz: a "suicide zero" can already be used in the game, just find a zero that has a bomb with it, and just before you hit the target release the bomb

On Map Kikusui you on't have those Zero's. So it should be add on that map to.

And....first read also the messages. I say clear; IS-100 is the IS-1 ingame, Kyle.
