| Everybody can post event ideas in this thread.
Our idea of events is to play maps that cover a certain battle or theatre or that are in some kind similar, like the art of warfare (infantry, tanks, navel, etc.).
The event maplist is in correct historical order.
To get an idea how to pic maps for an event have a look at older events http://fhsw-europ.ucoz.de/forum/3-41-1 or download the maplist here: http://fhsw-europ.ucoz.de/forum/4-661-1

| @Frank: I don't really like to see a beach landing map in this. We have so many events with those. Also Warsaw doesn't really fit. Are you ok with the following?
- Juno/Gold Beach/Omaha - FHT Golf Hotel - Stashuv Area - Apennines - Todtenbruch
- Warsaw Uprising The Storm

| Heres an idea after seeing Basilone on the server, dunno maybe its been done before. Either it be John Basilone battles or 1st Marine Division battles or just say both.
Philippines (he wasnt in battle but was stationed there and it adds early war map) Guadalcanal Peleliu Iwo Jima (maybe day1)

| the only problem I have with this one gameplayer is that they are all very commonly played maps with the exception for Crete 1941
I'm an old bf1942 player I go far back all the way to 2002 and I also play cnc generals.

| hmm. Are they really? I have not played them in a long while acually. Specially have not played supercharge in a very long while. These are the maps where paratrooper planes are common and there are not many out there in the mod @E-3.

| HMM ... I've been thinking about an event: Lately it was killing my nostalgia with Call Of Duty Big Red One. Maybe we can do an event, with maps of fhsw similar to cod big red one. what do you think?
Well, i don't know if that would be okay, but i see that in Cod big red one, you have a campaign with 3 phases in africa, italy, france from D-Day, Belgium, and germany.

| Hmmm very infantry based combat, but good idea. Would we have any 2 maps with more vehicles that would suit this theme Gameplayer? I'd like to replace Armhem because it was played in the "Bridges of the WW2" event and having 5 maps is nice
Borni's idea... not a bad one.... So generally Operation Torch - Kasserine Pass, Tunis, Mareth line, then Operation Husky - Battle of Gela, then D-Day - Omaha, then move to Germany - Battle of the bulge, Siegfried line, Remagen. Most of those maps are played regularly so it is a problematic event to set up. Maybe "Tunis - Mareth - Gela - Omaha - Siegried line" would be ok?
