| Everybody can post event ideas in this thread.
Our idea of events is to play maps that cover a certain battle or theatre or that are in some kind similar, like the art of warfare (infantry, tanks, navel, etc.).
The event maplist is in correct historical order.

| I do not know if we've played recently but I have an idea for the next event:
we could play "Liberation of France" ... or Operation Neptune.
Maps: Omaha Charlie Sector, Gold Beach, Juno Beach, Liberation of Caen, FHT Golf Hotel, Pegasus.
of course we will not play all, are only 4, but are some of the maps that I think would be cool for the event, some other idea, for which maps should we play?

| That sounds more like D-day event. 
Maybe if it would sound like Liberation of France. I suggest to add some other maps like: Operation goodwood, breakthought and stuff.
But that's just my oppinion you do not have to listen it.

| I agree with gameplayer. First of all there are so many 1944 maps about the Battle of France that we have to chose between the actual landing operations or the liberation of France. I would also prefer the liberation of France.
In this case I suggest to pick the maps that only include U.S. or British/Canadian forces. That would be
U.S.
-The attack on Carentan
-Ramelle Neuville
-Falaise Pocket
-Chartres
British/Canadian:
-In the hell of Bocage
-Liberation of Caen
-Operation Goodwood
-Breakthrough
I like both. Which one do you prefer? We could also do two events since we never set up the maplists like this before. It's up to you now!

| I agree with you two, good idea, I think it would be more fun to do a second part, as you said we played a part of the U.S. side after British / Canadian, I prefer that.
To change Ramelle for Remagen or Todtenbruch, because the battle of Ramelle did not exist, is only a detail. it is still a very fun map to play in an event. what do you think?

| Remagen and Todtenbruch are both on German soil and hence have not been part of the liberation of France.
But having four maps each including U.S. and British/Canadian forces feels like a call for me, plus we have never set up the maplists like this before.
I think the only questions left are:
-are we going to make two events?
-and if yes, U.S. or British/Canadian maplist first?

| ok map list is made for the event, hope that in the near future have more maps on the bataha of france, imagine playing in paris. 
Remagen and Todtenbruch really can not be part of this event, maybe after France we could go to Germany.

| Why not do a 2 day event on one weekend saturday and sunday? We did this before and actually in winter player base is so hughe that we could do it ?!
