  • Battleships, Carrier: 5 min respawn time
  • Cruisers (Hood, Eugen): 4 min respawn time

    Angaur
  • replaced Lion with Jenkins (Fletcher class destroyer)
  • the additional Japanese spawn point in the woods (south of flag 5) gets removed when Allies take the last flag
  • removed Japanese spawn APC

    Whab about the freakin' Sturmtiger at Warsaw ?

    Besides the fact that it is completely ridiculous to have that there, I see no point why it should exist next to the Brummbär...
    Maybe replacement with Panzer III N ?

    Actually it's one of the few maps it fits historically. Haven't played this map yet, is it really OP there?

  • nerfed 50 lbs charge so it doesn't destroy all turrets of the Ratte with one blow (have the Japanese players not figured out this trick yet?)

    Nevermind, I didn't know that it fits into the scenario.

    Well, then keep it in..
    But the amount of tanks for axis on this map is really overwhelming

    In total Germans get

    - 1 Panther (respawn time 3 minutes)
    - 1 Hetzer (2 minutes)
    - 1 Flammpanzer III (2 minutes)
    - 1 Brummbär (5 minutes)
    - 1 Sturmtiger (when capping the factory in the south) (6 minutes)

    I don't really see a huge increase in tanks. (I don't say no to a change, just posting the facts.)

    I would say, remove the Panther and the Hetzer. Those are combat tanks for open fields and not really usefull in the narrow streets while the Flammpanzer, the Brummbär and the Sturmtiger are made for urban combat. The three tanks are enough. Most players go as infantry on this map anyway.

    Oh I just remembered the Polish Panther "Pudel" and Hetzer "Chwat". I wouldn't want to remove them because they are such unique and historical vehicles.

    If FTP is ever started up again, could we replace an IS-2 with a SU-122P on a map like Spring Awakening? It's unfortunately not in-game anymore, but would still be cool to have on at least one map. Plus, IS-2s are over abundant in FHSW anyways. Perhaps it could spawn when all Russian flags are taken?

    I guess these only contain gameplay-related changes because none of these maps have caused problems yet (except Simusyu To maybe). And these we better do by ourself since we are usually 20 and not 70 players.

    What I have done so far:
    Angaur
  • replaced Lion with Jenkins (Fletcher class destroyer)

    Leyte Gulf
  • fixed a bug which caused all 25 mm AA guns on the Musashi to fire when you fired the main guns (seat 1) (not sure if the fix really works, need 2 people to test)

    Operation Kikusui Day 1
  • removed all Japanese ships except Yamato

    Operation Rattrap
  • nerfed 50 lbs charge so it doesn't destroy all turrets of the Ratte with one blow

    What about Alpenfestung? It still crashed for lots of people yesterday. Maybe make less stuff spawn (if that is indeed the cause of the crashes).

    @wewak That may have been because I had the S&T pack installed. Later I uninstalled it and ran Alpennoob again on the new server, and I was able to play the entire round without crashing (this was without any other players, mind you). 
    @eye Could you also add a Mogami or some sort of cruiser on Guadalcanal for the Japanese? At the moment Japs only get a destroyer and sub, where as the Americans get all that and an Atlanta, which is a huge advantage. I don't know why devs removed the Mogami, maybe for realism purposes? But right now it just feels really unbalanced. 
    P.S. I still stand by on my SU-122P statement  tongue
