Not so much. Addons for Flight Simulator X consume quite a few space.
Yeah I have noticed that option, unfortunately Sony Vegas doesn't work with Dxtory codec so I needed to use another lossles codec (FFV), it outputs 3 times smaller AVI file so it's not bad too.

@Marduk: I don't think that he was playing seriously, it seems that he was just showing off the map. I watched a lot of their videos, they play the game differently than we do.
