well fritzy is close.
The IJN Kii class was the proposed class for the japanese 8 and 8 plan but due to regulations and pressure from washington it was canceled. yes it was form the 20s.

| Nope it's definitely not the Kii class, they would have been a lot smaller than the Yamato and the planned armament is also completely off. Besides why would a ship from the early 20's be heavier and better armed than one from the late 30's/40's. 
The model in-game is the Yamato hull just with different weapons you can clearly see that. And that is also the ship shown on one of the screenshots in the latest news: the Super Yamato. Compare it with the wikipedia entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Design_A-150_battleship
btw. the ship with the dark deck in the news is the Musashi, Yamato's sister ship.
According to the German wiki the suggested name for the never constructed fourth Yamato ship would have been Kii so it makes sense to use that name for the first Super Yamato ship.

Slobodan got confused due to the author of latest blog entry, since his nickname sounds very polish.  As the news footer says, Zubrowka just joined the FHSW Development Team to help with map making issues. I did meet him once while playing on Umeboshi but he is not Pole though if I recall correctly, Slobo
