| Hi,
In the past weeks I tried to make a Wirbelwind for FHSW, here's the result so far: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfgU4psXWcc
I made a completely new turret and put it on the Ostwind hull, then I took some parts of the Flakvierling, remodelled them a bit, and placed it inside the turret.
Things that need some work: - Texture: I'm not very talented with this, I just recycled the Ostwind texture and placed it more or less randomly on the turret. - Gun barrels: I used the barrels from the existing Flakvierling but I think they're too long. - Some Collision meshes need a rework. - I didn't create the simple model yet.
I also saw that the Ostwind turret is too big but I don't think that anyone will fix this.
Would you like to see the Wirbelwind in FHSW? Anything I could improve on this model? Please be honest.

| Cool! If you need information, we look at literature or other 3D model. See link to the file sharing in personal correspondence. Unfortunately I can not violate the copyright and the title of a book or a link.

| Thanks everyone! I'm not sure if I'll do another model because it's very time consuming even for such an easy model and I also think that FHSW devs have enough modellers that are way more experienced.
@Mr_J: I changed some parts of the model so I would have to redo all the texturing. I simply send the untextured model to FHSWman if he wants it. Or are you interested in texturing the whole model?
@Vano: Thanks for the link you sent me via mail, it's a very interesting read with detailed pictures that are really helpful. I changed some parts of the model with this.

| I wanted to make at least one more difficult model. I picked the Sturmtiger.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDkvTCUFW90
I didn't texture it because I hate it and it's too tedious for me with the tools in 3ds max. That's why it looks somewhat washy.
Seats: 1: driver and 38 cm rocket mortar 2: MG 34 3: Nahverteidigungswaffe 4: pistol ports 5 & 6: passenger seats
Note that all effects and sounds are only place holders.
btw. I haven't received an answer for the Wirbelwind yet.

| I don't know if I'll do another one, but interesting vehicle.
Really clever to place the machine gun in the back considering the Italian's favorite direction in WW2.

| I sent the Sturmtiger model to FHSWman but didn't receive any feedback so either it landed in his spam folder or he's too busy or not interested.
btw. I saw your IS-3 ingame now, looks fantastic.
