Hi,

I just found this posting in the bfmods forum by tuia who somehow figured out how to change the max number of players on a server. He raised it to 128. surprised

Not really interesting for our server but great to see that there are still new discoveries in Bf1942 after 10 years. smile

Yesterday I saw the pfc Server in the ingame browser with 128 slots cool could bee fun happy

If only he knew how to increase map size! It would blow a fresh wind into this game. That's very interesting though and I belive there are many more of hidden things in .exe that can be changed

??? No one said that we'll do it with the FHSW server, I just wanted to spread the word. I even said so in my third sentence. wink

@J: EoD has one map with a size of 4096x4096 I believe, they said it's not even that difficult technically. They just made 4 separate maps and strapped them together somehow. Everything was done in Battlecraft42.

Forget FHSW, FH Crete with 2 Junkers and 64 german paratroopers, 24 of them riding on the wings. Now that's double the fun!

FHSW Crete is more fun because it has the Me 323 Gigant. cool
And I doubt that they (PFC) will ever come close to 128 players, they're struggling to even get 64 lately.

Update: It still works at evenings.

BTW I have discovered yet another bug. After 128 players patch was applied to japanese FHSW server, it can't kick you due to exceeding the ping limit, if your ID number is 63 or larger. So it's "illegal" way to play FHSW with 85 players for people whose ping is greater than 300.
