| What do you think about a new event concept?
-only 3-4 maps
-each map is played for 60 mins or until the tickets run out (increased tickets)
This way there is less need to rush to the flags and players can advance more carefully and develope better tactics and teamplay.

| I like the idea of a longer round time, in general. It leads to a little less variance in the final result and a little more accurate reflection of the strength of each side. Also, less experienced players should be able to see a little more improvement over the course of the same round. Players are able to try more different things on the same map and compare the results.
For some, it may feel all the same, just longer, so some probably won't be any more careful. But I'm for it.

| Very nice idea  . I can remember beeing disapointed, especially on very exciting maps, that time was over "so fast" 
So I would go fine with switching off the time and let the ticket count do the work.
btw: damned sorry for disrupting my event suggestion  time is still quite short allthough the new year have already started ...

| We should play long rounds (~60 minutes) again. Iwo Jima (the one based on the Vanilla map) is a good example of a map where the 35 minute time is clearly way too low. Try to take the American landing ship to any beach other than the closest (and least tenable for the Allies) one from the beginning and the allied tickets are halved before the first landing even happens. And there are so many interesting counter-spawn vehicles that change the balance, but there's very little time left for that effect to be felt within the 35 minutes time. Not to mention that many players are slow to learn that on the allied side they need to destroy the spawn turrets to fully secure the airfield flag and the hill flag, and it takes time when only a few players try to do this job, while the whole enemy team spawns there.
Similarly, it was very nice that someone had the foresight and patience to take a landing ship to the last flag on Simusyu to 1945 early on, another very time-consuming process. Without this move, allies usually lose the map.
luiscarlosred, of these maps I like these, I think they would all benefit from a long round time, and they are all among Marduk's proposed landing operations, so we can have them in a part 2 of the Landing Operations event:
Battle of Iwo Jima
Juno Beach
Operation Varsity or Westminster-1942 (not exactly a landing, or is it?)
I would also add Battle of Angaur and propose this:

| You are really right and a matter of life and death but these maps are incredible and very complicated so it is necessary to have some kind of strategy for the enemy and this becomes fantastic on a battlefield. 
Operation Varsity and Westminster-1942 are not a totally different destination from each other so it would not be a landing map, but they are 2 very interesting maps.
And yes, it could be
1. Battle of Angaur
2. Juno Beach
3. Battle of Iwo Jima
4. Westminster-1942
(50-60 minutes round time)
(Could I add another map?) If in case, it is possible to choose another map I would choose Omaha Charlie Sector - 1944
In this case, it would be 5 landing maps:
1. Battle of Angaur
2. Juno Beach
3. Battle of Iwo Jima
4. Westminster-1942
5. Omaha Charlie Sector - 1944
That's all, if possible, could be the event this week. :D
