the event yesterday was very cool. i show my reallife friends the fhsw mod during the last 2 maps of the the event. all 3 dudes really like the mod. i hope they will play in the future also on our server.
(We use the tag [LKF])
And sorry for the bad arty performance on stalingrad. its hard to tell newbies how to fire with arty in bf1942.

That's great to hear, looks like you had a lot of fun. Good job on promoting the mod. smile

Noobs are always welcome, as long as they don't teamkill everyone. :p

On a somewhat related note: I think a big advantage over FH2 is that while on our server there are certainly some good players, most are somewhere in the middle so even as a newbie you're usually able to get some kills. In FH2 you can finish several maps in a row with 0-20 without even seeing an enemy, there are just too many players who are way too good at the game. Maybe that's a positive side effect of not being able to play FHSW 24/7 because of lacking players and therefor can't improve your skills as much. Just a weird theory.
