    Do you have a map list for the incoming tank event?

    translated:

    Quote ("VaU")

    That's good, there were no tanks for a long time. rolleyes However I remember events to be played on Fridays or Saturdays. wink So could it be possible to revert these days back? No, I'm not going to whine, but Sunday late evenings are particularly inconvenient for me to play events sad I must to wake up early morning every Monday to go to job sad :( [VaU is a public school teacher - J]
    (of course I understand if it is not possible smile but who knows, maybe it can be done?)

    Quote (Pum!)
    I agree with Vau!

    To be honest I would say the same thing. I guess it may be the reason why people leave the events so quick

    I'm okay with your proposal, I have time on most days.

    There are many tank maps, I hope you pick the good ones. happy

    €: Oops, as soon as I posted this I saw the map list. Good choice imo, only Battle over Hokkaido is missing.

    Hi all.
    my suggestion for the next event is that it could be something like "End of the Axis" where its first some late battles with Italy in them like Husky (the first axis power goes down). then, onto germany with like winter battles like the battle of the bulge and bastogne. then after, on the eastern front is maps like berlin outskirts and berlin, or anything late 1944-1945 (end of the second axis). and finally, in the pacific are some 1945 or 44 battles like iwo jima, op. kikusui day 1 & 2 (the end of the third axis). and mabye we can add some finnland and hungary maps, since they're on the axis side (finnland was never officially, though) biggrin cool

    I like your idea, but 3 or more maps per theatre sounds a bit excessive.

    For the discussion: I think the final maps for each nation are..
    Finnland: Ilomantsi
    Germany: Alpenfestung
    Hungary: The Great Pursuit
    Italy: Operation Husky
    Japan: Operation Coronet/Forgotten Jungle

    I have to buy a new microphone to put under stress all TS users, maybe I will get more kill in game, if I divert other players attention with my useful tales... about my life book .
    Oh yes... if you have the time, please, put a list of all maps that are running on the server, so we have a list and find some forgotten map. .
    I love you all... now I go to work.

    I made a table (sortable by year, theatre, nation and mode) that contains every map: http://wiki.bf-games.net/Karten_in_Forgotten_Hope_Secret_Weapon

    It's in German but it should be readable. smile
    Ostfront = Eastern Front
    Westfront = Western Front
    Mittelmeer = Mediterranean Sea

    @eYe: Two maps are missing in your list - regular Berlin and Iwo Jima. smile

    @Stefan: We've already played a naval event 1 month ago and we didn't gather many people then (don't players love sea?). Why it's gonna be next Sunday? No offence, I'm just aksing

    I tried Berlin but it doesn't work, it switches the game back to vanilla before loading that map. wacko
    As for Iwo Jima, yes I forgot it, thanks J!

    I love sea maps and I think they really stand out because no other mod (or even game) has so many different and detailed ships. I don't know why we had such a low player count on the sea event but they were pretty low overall at the end of last year. sad
    But we're on the rise again. cool

    I would kick out Operation A because no one liked it last time. Maybe use regular Midway instead? We had some fun when we played it not too long ago.

    ah, I saw italian army is only in 2 maps...
    That's an impressive historical realism. Italian army was absent everywhere. cool

    biggrin

    I think there are still some errors in the list, e. g. Operation Husky is obviously with Italy but I wrote Germany by mistake.

    That's three maps, add Ortona and you have an event. happy

    yes, true, but in those maps, if I remember, there are german soldiers... italians are probably on holiday or in some restaurant eating spaghetti teehee
