I wonder if those pictures were from some WWII movies?
Because I can't imagine that in the 30s and 40s such techniques in photography were possible (look at the quality of these photos, it's quite good).

| actually by then cameras had come along way, especially for still photos, youd be surprised by the level of detail in some real ww2 photos. and its always possible to add colour digitally nowadays, or to sharpen or add filters to images... photoshop is king...

| @Death: When we start our event at 8 pm, yes, we can skip 2-4 maps i guess. In this case, I would just skip the last four (Kasserine pass 1943, Battle of mareth line, Bizerte, Tunis 1943). Those four maps could be a single event with the name "The End in North Africa"... just thinking...
