| Hey Guys,
The Cleaner here. Sorry for joining this conversation too late. So I have a server running in Texas right now. It is hosting regular FH. I am going to start hosting FHSW in Atlanta, GA so everyone will have decent ping (I am in California)
Let me know if this would be a help or a hindrance. I don't want to throw a wrench in the machine if you guys are almost done building it. I am more then happy to make any of the FHSW regulars admins as well. You guys are all very fair and good admins. I see vatnik has a FHSW server running but unfortunately I cannot play there. Ping is way too high. Thoughts?
Server will be Sitzkrieg FHSW

| For the current outage of the main server we have 3 people who responded by starting temporary servers:
- "FHSW-Europ.ucoz.de TEMP2 v0.6" (mine) is located in Bulgaria, so you should have a little higher ping than on the main server.
- "F H S W 0 6" (vatnik's?) is located in Russia, so a little higher ping still. I see all FHSW players are there currently.
- "survivalclan.tk all mods server" (E-3's) located in Netherlands, so your ping should be a little lower than on the main server. Its disadvantage is that it loads the maps maybe about 3 minutes longer (on a Pentium D) or 1-2 minutes longer (on a Core 2 Q6600).
On the topic of long term servers:
It can't hurt to have a FHSW server in America. I think it would be nice if we were to be switching to it at some point each evening, when players from around Europe decrease and players from the Americas increase. I'd play there sometimes when I see players there, including in late hours. I'd also welcome advertisement of such a server here (e.g. you could ask in the chatbox for players to join). We will definitely have a server in Europe, in any case.

| whats most important for the server is the reliability of the upload speed plus the power of the cpu and ability to have admins on the sever manager.
this is best i can do for now i got a q6600 cpu 4gb ddr2 ram and cat6 cables on Gigabit Ethernet my upload speed is at least 20.40 mbps.
im sure the are guys here that have alot better specs on pc and better internet upload as me but here are 2 rules.

we need server admins to set maps and do admin duty on the server so you will need
the bf server manager and you need to make some players admin

also i have talk on my teamspeak server to Mutantz from
forgotten honor tournament and he says
he may be able to run a full dedicated server from fht
in my personal opinion if this can be done its best we got and we should move to that server.
so who do we pick for the fhsw server

if its me just let me know.
I'm an old bf1942 player I go far back all the way to 2002
and I also play cnc generals.

| Mutantz just informed me about this thread. I did not check it before because I thought the matter had been resolved.
So here is our deal:
We have our servers, but we only will have them running 24/7 for FHSW the community here finalizes on a decisions to partner with Forgotten Honor and make the F|H FHSW European Server. What I mean by this, is that I need to know if you guys will formally support it. Then I can make FHSW Europe admins as current admins.
So the option is open. It just needs a formal approval.

The current solution is that wewak (responsibilities for contract and managing payments) will take over the server from eye and soniklight will be the main admin.
Regarding your idea to start hosting FHSW in Atlanta I fully agree with starking:

| I could help I spend a lot of time playing bf 1942 if need be! 
And I could help the Portuguese because I speak Brazilian too.
Because I see many Brazilian players entering our server and few of them are helped there they end up leaving the server.  And that's why I think another language for our server would be great 
And if I had the opportunity to help I would help with great pleasure.!
